About the Chef I was born and grew up in Texas and my favorite chef was my grandmother. I learned from the best and love to make comfort foods, Tex-Mex and homemade desserts – I also love to barbeque! I married my high school sweet-heart and have traveled the world with him and my three sons as he served in the Army. This has also given me a deep appreciation for the dishes, spices and techniques used to prepare foods in Europe and Korea. While helping put the boys through college, I was a Dental Hygienist. I found that I loved to discuss recipes with patients in addition to the finer points of oral hygiene. After much thought and encouragement from friends and family, I retired from Dental Hygiene and am pursuing my personal chef career full time. I have always loved to cook and it is a very important part of my life and I wish to share my love of cooking with YOU! I am a graduate of the Culinary Business Academy and a premier member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA). My Traveling Kitchen is only a phone call away! SUPPER’S READY!! |
